Escalators? You've added escalators to your growing list? Have you been attacked by an escalator?

The Princess is still offended that Gypsies are on your phobia list!

I have a serious bridge phobia. It's not unusual for me to crawl into the back seat, hunker down, and wait it out when crossing the Bay Bridge (between Oakland and San Francisco).

The Foresthill Bridge outside of Auburn (the one they jumped the car off of in the Vin Diesel movie "Triple X") is another one that scares the peepee outta me.

I'm terrified of wasps. Angry dog? No problem, kick it. Rabid animal? Lemme get the .22. Wasp? RUN.

A friend of ours is terrified of cops - or, more accurately, the guns they carry. What's the term? Hoplophobia?

My sister is scared to death of vomit. A girl once puked a few seats ahead on a bus, and my sis nearly had a panic attack. Her face was WHITE, and she was shaking.

ok, I'm with you there! I've been terrified of them since I was 4. My cousin used to tell me that my shoelaces would get tangled in them and tear my legs off. Even today I jump over the end of the escalator. I was 25 before I was first able to bring myself to ride on one!

I have a co-worker that is freaked out by styrofoam

See? I'm not the only one!

The first time DH and I spent the night together, I accidentally got my face wet in the shower spray. I completely freaked out, started screaming and flailing around. He had to carry me out of the shower because I was hysterical. Don't even talk to me about putting my face in the pool! Needless to say, I've never had swimming lessons. They loose me at the "Blow bubbles in the water" part.

I've never met anyone else who has that kind of fear! Not to say that I'm happy you do, but I'm glad to know I'm not the only one.

Can't get my face wet. Spiders. Escalators.

I don't watch movies involving crashing elevators. I joke that I can't do escalators, so don't want to have to cross elevators off my list too. I don't want to take the stairs for the rest of my life.

My fear or phobia is of Tornadoes. I hate tornadoes, when there is a tornado warning issued I get really nervous.
Luckely we do not get too many of them here in the Mountain areas of East Tennessee.
