Photos of the ones that hatched so far

These are not great photos, but the first ones hatched yesterday, one black, one lavender. And the two in bator with the eggs hatched today, also one black and one lavender.

Cochins? Silkies? Has to be one or the other, maybe both, who knows.

They look fuzzy enough for silkies but pictures are poor. How many toes do the ones that hatched have? What color are their feet/legs?

As far as the toes...it looks like the black one has yellow legs? The lavender I think has 5 toes and black legs/feet. (the ones in the bator). Now the two in the brooder, the black has black legs and feet and so does the Lavender? Hmmmm......

The one to the right is definetley a silkie probable be a little splash silkie

. Well they both look like silkies try getting a better pick if you want to be sure. Silkies have black skin and 5 toes. k

The ones with black/dark skin and 5 toes are your silkie chicks. Easiest way to tell them apart from the others. Wish I had lavender silkie chicks running around.

Maybe I will when mine hatch.
