Pictures of the Broody's and Their Chicks. ~LOST 2 TODAY~

These chicks hatched on the 3rd and 4th and are learning so much now that there mothers are bringing them out to forage and scratch.

These pictures are taken yesterday before the mottled cochin and mutt hen started fighting over the chicks:

And these pictures were taken today.The mottled and mutt hens faces are a little blooody and swollen from their little fights but their not to bad.The partridge goes were she wants.Sometimes shes with the mottled cochin and other times shes with the mutt hen:

I love the last picture, so they will steal and raise chicks that are not theirs?

well no not all the time. these three all set right beside eachother, i have another thread with more pictures of their first few days and when the hens were setting. they just sat next to eachother and their chicks all hatched the same time and the chicks were all running around at the ssame time so they all claimed them and the chicks run back and forth to each mom.they dont know the difference.
