I ordered some of those plastic snap bands. Tried using my dremel with a fine tip, and carved my phone number in the band, then rubbed it with sharpie marker. The marker stuck to the number and wiped off the flat surface.
This was just a test, and pretty crude looking, but I might try a few more, I’m sure I can do it more neatly. Lol

Smart idea! I got some numbere ones from the pigeon show(foys was there) and i put it on some older unbanded racers i got. Where do you all get your bands? And its 8mm for homers right?

I haven't ordered any yet, but this guy does them pretty cheap, so I think I'll be going with ordering from him. He will put whatever you want on them, and there are several styles.

Might be 9mm for homers. I've heard its usually 8 for rollers and 9 for homers.

Ordered mine thru eBay. Shipping said from NJ, but tracking said they arrived at a DHL facility in California first, so I’m pretty sure they didn’t originate in NJ.

I got mine from alibaba. The Chinese ebay. I couldnt find any in UK that would put a phone no. on. I can get numbered and I can get stickers that you put on the band but none that are indented on. 8mm is the normal size for homers.
