I'd go with the blue. But that would depend on how many males you have or what your looking for. If it's 50/50 there's a better chance it's a female than 100% it's male! But if your looking for an almond than the almond is obviously the one to go for but you would need to source a female later. I'd still go for the blue.

I have the same dilemma w/Doba. I don't think it's a great life for a flyer, but can't bring myself to cull. I have had her in the loft under supervision twice for a few hours but she remains vulnerable to injury from the cockbirds.

It’s always tough to decide whether or not a bird is living a fulfilling life. But I also think they kinda let us know when their time is done. :hugs
