Pigeon Talk

Welcome back!
My parlors are sitting on eggs, but I checked them on day 7, this past Wednesday, and they aren’t fertile. So I’m letting her sit for a bit longer, hoping the weather will improve, then I’ll remove them and let them start over.

Bummer on the port egg. :( but you’ll have to post pics of the new blue bars!
sorry on your eggs. I will get pics tommorrow. How are your sats?

Doing great! I edited the previous post to say I posted a little video of them today. If you didn’t see it, back up a page or two.
I saw it. So pretty!

@h2oratt good job rescuing that bird! Did you ever find a home or the owner? What breed is it? Looks like a fantail mix. I'm kinda skimming in the previous pages but not reading everything.

Wow! That's cold! Is boomer enjoying food brought to him every day? A bit different than being a feral! He's a smart fella.
My feral is Loper, Boomer is CCUKs bird.:D
Loper has embedded himself pretty seamlessly into the flock. He is cute to watch and a nice looking bird. He enjoys his meals but seems go for the smaller grains and not so much the peas. I am often leaving the aviary door open when feeding but none of my birds, including Loper, make any effort to fly out. I think they know its a dangerous time.

Boomer is fine. Mine are flying every weekend at the moment. It's too dark in the week when I return from work. So they're just ticking over for the time being.
