I just spoke to the owner. Sort of, he had a strong glasweigen accent! She was released from Gien in France on Friday. Its a 570 mile race. She has done this race three times before. He wants me to keep hold of her for a couple of days then release her. I have put her in with mine for the time being. I will release her Saturday morning. He did say that there is every chance she will return to my loft maybe upto a week afterwards. If she does this it will be while she builds herself back up. Then she should just go and hopefully return to him. She is an experienced racer so she should, technically, return to him first time!

Yes. It's about 35 miles at its narrowest and about 80 150 at it's widest.

I just had to take her out the loft. A single female in a loft with two single males maybe wasn't a great idea! They had her pinned in the corner. So I put a cage up in the garage for her and she is quite happy there!

Suggestion,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, take out those 2 males, and put her in with a young male,,,,, still not paired up...
It may turn out you have a cougar.

Good idea! I may have just the bird....#42! And I might send them two out on the next lorry to France!

If you've followed the other thread about the injured racing pigeon found in Ninjasquirrel's driveway, you will know that another pigeon is coming to live with Olive and I tomorrow. I told Olive to be on her best behavior and not to be rude because the new bird won't be feeling too well. She said she's fine with a sister around as long as she doesn't expect to sleep in her fluffy pink bed. I told her I'll order a second one.

This is fantastic news. I'm sure she will be cared for exceptionally well and nursed back to health in no time! I'm sure olive will be fine....she may want the new pink fluffy bed though!

Ash has layed her second egg and after much deliberation I've decided to leave both under her. I've seen #66 on the nest now as well. I have 5 pairs and they seem the safest bet at the moment. I'm gonna pray this works this time round.
