pink feathers on trout runners???

they are indeed in the us... very few breeders have them... typically f/w, brown, black, and blue and the easiest to get

Your ducklings look just like my August when he was little. He's definitely not trout color. Here's what he looks like then and a week ago.

The wing tips on August are staying white, and the band around his neck is also white.

I need help

i belive, tourt runners here in N.A are called both tourt and grey runners same colour , differnt name. they aren't that rare in Canada i don't think. But runners on the recovering breeds list in canada . i would say maybe F&W. not sure tho

Trout and Grey are different colors. Grey is the wild type color (like Mallard or Rouen). Trout is a light phase wild type (li/li). Visually, Trouts have more white than Greys.

I have no idea what color he is. His head is a very dark brown, he has a white band under his neck, his chest feathers are a copper color, and his back feathers are silver but outlined in the copper color. Also his wing tips are white.

I call it pretty, but who's to say.

i nabbed the batteries out of the tv remote and took some more pics today, you can see the feather better on this pic:

ps.. louis (the darker coloured duckling) is a lot lot bigger and heavier than donald, is that normal? you cant really tell by looking but when i pick them up, louis feels more than twice the weight of donald
