I'm on day 26 today. I only have two that we rescued since our ducks eggs kept getting stolen from her nest. They were both alive when we candled on day 22 but the one that hasn't pipped yet still had a bit of the clear yolk on the end opposite the air sac while the one that is currently pipping was completely dark. So I think this one is a little early and the other maybe a little late. I'm worried about the late bloomer though now since we had to stop the rotator, drop the temperature a degree, and raise the humidity for the one that pipped. I don't know if all of those changes will hurt the one that hadn't pipped yet.

Exactly the same here, just one day behind & I have 3 late bloomers. I went back and forth on an early lockdown but decided to do it since the one early bloomer was completely dark and trying to internally pip when candled. Figured the on had the best chance of survival.

Dont worry about the turner, you are already far enough along that it shouldn't matter. If you saw movement when you candled, everything should be OK.

I originally read it should be between 45-55 so for the first week that is what it was at. Their air sac was way to big so we raised the humidity to high 50s/low 60s since we read up on low humidity being one of the leading causes of abnormally large air sacs. When we candled at day 22 they looked good and we just recently read it should be mid 80s humidity for the last 3 days so we've been trying to keep it up. I've read so many conflicting things I'm not even sure what's true anymore. I just read this morning that condensation was good

Here are my 3 late bloomers on day 24.

@oregonkat is exactly right about the wrong end pipper. DO NOT HELP... YET!!

Why? Externally pipping without going through the air cell takes extra long, because they are skipping the step of breathing the air cell air (which is usually 24ish hours). It could still be 48-72 hours from full hatch (from the time it first externally pipped)
Ducklings are sloooooowwwwww! If you rush them, they will not have absorbed the yolk, and you do not want to rush that process.

Just watch for movement, listen for sound. Watch the membrane for any darkening, like turning brown. It should remain white to wet-looking gray colored.

Yes the last one I’m not seeing movement but the 1st and second I am. Especially the 2nd one- tons of movement, but much less developed than the one that is not pictured & I’m seeing rocking.

Pics must be deceiving, because the first pic looks the worst to me. No blood vessels. The 2nd and 3rd still look ok, but still several days to go before they will be ready to hatch. Also on the 3rd one, there is an area where it looks like the CAM (blood vessel network) failed to expand into the whole egg, but its not a very big space, so it should be ok still.
I think you still have a few days to wait.
