I'm not sure about how to up the temp, maybe try adding some kind of insulating material to the walls and see if it helps.

I never used measurements for mine, just take out half and check the humidity (if it's still too high after a few hours take out more). I just add a bit when the humidity goes below 45%

Maybe that's why the temp is low. Try adding some insulator to the inside walls?

I don't have much experience in homemade incubators myself so this is all I can say to help. Hopefully someone with more experience can help

My husband made another incubator .Today is day 9, & here we are at the moment.I am very excited

I incubated 10 and have possibly 5 fertile.Im getting concerned about my humidity though. I'M barely staying at 40 .

Ok I am at 30h from one start so I took it out the chick look to be OK I got one more coming it's about 20h naw sad most of the time I get about 70% hatch

So they're hatching?
Be patient- they may be slow or late

Yes 2 the first was in the shell about 28h so I took it out it was loud it is do fine haw Long can u live one in the shell the other has been in for about 18h

Leave it for another day then you can think about assisting.

Hi Pippin i Have a broody hen who has decided to sit on eggs in a different stable. The others haven’t seen her for a couple of days. She came off her nest for a break today and went out with the others, my Rooster attacked her is this normal and how can I prevent it happening again?
