That isn’t possible since she doesn’t go out for walks anywhere near the dirt. She’s usually inside the house with us, either in the living room or bed.

It's too zoomed in and blurried so I can't really tell what I'm looking at here. I mean, I can tell it's a duck's foot but can't tell what's wrong with the nail.

Why is she inside your house and not outside where ducks belong?

Why do you think they belong outside? They can be indoor or outdoor pets just like a dog or cat. They dont "belong" anywhere specific.
