I guess we are legal. We have a good bit of land over 10 miles from the nearest town.

I am legal-we are in a VERY rural area-only one town of a decent size in our county! Farms are all around us, and we have 40 minutes to the closest BIG town!

Completely and totally legal!! I too love living in the country where not even the dog warden comes out. LOL They told us that we're too far out to come take care of some stray dogs.

I'm pretty sure I'm illegal. However, my neighbors don't care and there's a neighbor across the street with a rooster and a duck. I know this, because I've heard the rooster and the duck has gotten out a few times. Course, I've got a rooster now too, still not sure if we're gonna keep him. Also have ducks...they're noisier than the rooster. I'd love to get geese too, but I'm sure that'd be pushing my luck! Hopefully, in a few years we'll be able to move to the country, then I can indulge my poultry habit as much as I'd like to.
