Mine actually like yogurt mixed with blueberries and milled flaxseed the best. As far as "meat" they go nuts over termites!

Yogurt brings my chickens running like they are on fire. And yes...TERMITES!

Mine like noodles first, eggs second, mealy worms, and than greens. Never tried meat, but they have gotten pomegranate and blueberries but those were so so. They do not like carrots, which I thought was wired.

Raisins are on top of the list. They love oatmeal and bread but they will plow you over for meat.

Grapes and raisins are a couple of faves, and I found out when I dropped the birdfeeder that Niger seed is REALLY great stuff.
I can call them by shaking the raisin bag and calling 'treats'! Nothing is cuter than watching them come running across the yard.

Another thing mine adore is raw eggs. No, it doesn't turn them into egg eaters. They never break the eggs themselves, I break them.

Our chickens are picky. Some of them like certain treats and others don't. They all like mealworms and moving food (most of them), but they get the most excited over layer feed. If I just throw it into their run, they go nuts, as if they've never seen it before. I guess, if it's outside, then it tastes nothing like what I put in their food dish.

Oh, I forgot, they love to chase and eat the mice that live in their coops. I've seen them all perk up an run after mice that come out of their holes during the day and go scurrying across the floor. We even had one hen who was so proud of her catch that she held the dead mouse in her beak even when she was carried into the barn to show my Mom.
