@casportpony here you go..it actually looks a lot better than this morning.

@casportpony, he perked up, he’s walking around a bit more but he still isn’t right. His breathing isn’t right either. He stands still, eyes closed and looks like he’s holding his breath, inhaling, exhaling, puffing his face and then open mouth breathing.
HELP please...I really have no idea what to do.

He might have bacterial infection that is not sensitive to the Cipro. How many days did you give the Cipro? How much weight has he lost? Ask your pharmacist for something that treats pseudomonas aeruginosa.

@casportpony we gave him the cipro for 5 days 250mg daily. 125mg in the morning and 12 hours later another 125mg.
He has lost 700g since we weighed him last week. I stupidly wasn’t weighing him in between. He is eating and drinking again, he had terrible diarrhea while he was taking the antibiotics and his stools seem to be not as loose now.

@casportpony...my pharmacist managed to order me some enrofloxacin 5% to be injected IM do you think we should administer for 3 or 5 days or even 7? Many thanks again for your help.
