when i can figure out how to keep 2-3 pekin or cayugas IN THE BROODER with my 11 day old BR chicks i will be getting some and thier names will be - Charolette ,Webber,& Daisy .
i just dont know how to do that ...

I probably have some of the least original duck names on the planet.

Swedish Blues... "Swede" and "Blue"

Mallards ... "Flo" and "Moe"

Magpie... "Mag"

Pekin... "Flack" (short for Aflack) lol.

as you can see im not the most creative with the naming. but they're easy to remember and give the ducks more personalities none the less!

All Muscoveys.
Spot - white, with a black spot on his head and little black spots all up his legs and feet.
Amelia - she flies everywhere! Her favourite hangout is the roof!
BD (Big Daddy) - for obvious reasons!
Dusty - white duck with a browny grey on her lower back and tail feathers
Lilac - she has small purple feathers at the tips of her wings.
Lilly - Just because she's sweet
Chocolate Ripple (ripples) - when she was younger she had brown and white barring up her chest and belly.
Cheese and quackers - my sisters puny name.
Ember - just because I love the name!
Peepette - Because according to my brother peep is too boyish.

Have too little buff girls coming in may their names should be an interesting one!

My Runners are called Spiderman-Shrek and Fiona, lol I wont be letting my son have his input to any other ducks I get lol

The one eying up the camera and peeping is Rascal, haven't named the others yet. any ideas? rascal likes to try to escape lol.

Kind of ironic but I'll be naming some of my ducklings after the people of the show duck dynasty! Si, Jase, Miss Kay, and Phil! Now I just need 6 more names!

Our daughter named our East Indie Pair - Jake and Jade

My granddaughter named our original 4 ducks - Cindy (Cinderella), Jazz (Jasmine), Daphne, and Tinkerbelle (Stanley - changed his name when we discovered she was a he. LOL) I got to name our first drake - Reggie (Sir Reginald Duckworth) and Our crested Swedish, Lucy (Melissa Lucille Quackenbush, the Lady Duckworth). We hatched a bunch, and some got names - most notably, Coco - a dilute (chocolate) Swedish), Freakout (he freaked over Everything) and Fearless - the smallest Swedish drake but he took no sass from our chihuahua who was always trying to taste the ducklings... He pinched her on her nose and she stopped.

We only have Lucy left, and I am looking for a BFF for her.
