Hello, @Crestcrazy2! Boy, when it rains, it pours, doesn't it? Your family is under Satanic attack. The enemy of souls is doing his level best to discourage and dishearten all of you! With all that is going on in our old world right now, it is obvious (to me, at least!) that the old serpent is in his death throes. He is pulling out all the stops. As Scripture tells us, he is going around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, for he knows that his time is short! He knows that Jesus is about to come and rescue us, and he is trying to take our eyes off of Him! Don't let him do it! In all this madness, in the midst of these storms and trials, my friend, keep your eyes on Jesus. Remember Job who said, "I know that my Redeemer lives, and that my own eyes will see Him!" Ask Him for wisdom to know what to do with your Grandma. Ask Him to guide your sister and protect her; ask Him to help her make good choices. Ask Him to take care of your aunt with all His love and mercy, trusting that He will do what is best for her. Above all, trust that in every situation he will keep His promise that "ALL things work together for good to them that love God ..." Romans 8:28. And ask Him to strengthen your faith, that you may believe that promise with all your heart, in spite of appearances. Satan is the father of lies. God, your heavenly Father, cannot lie. Trust in Him and be at peace. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.

I pray that is the case but know that he did not have a faith in the lord and was not a born again believer. My only hope is that in those last moments he turned to God for comfort.
In these hard times we must all lean on our lord more and more. Our only hope is in him.

I am SO SORRY to hear this! I cannot imagine the devastation this has caused in your family and the grief you must all be feeling. I can only say to you, please know that God knows and understands what each of you is going through. The Scripture that comes to my mind is, "Cast all your cares upon Him (God), for He cares for you." Trust me, He also knows and understands what your dear brother was suffering as well. Don't let anyone tell you that David can't be saved because of what he did. Only God can judge, and our God is a God of love and compassion and mercy. Trust God and be at peace.
