hi all!
my coturnix quails today starting kill each other and eating feathers. age 3 weeks old.,total 35 quails. please tell me any solution emiditly
i have turned off light for emergency prevention.

Go to wherever you get feed and take a picture of the ingredient list on the one with the highest protein level you can find, that way we can help you see if it's ok to feed to your quail. In the meantime, try to get them some more space, at minimum one square foot per bird.

It's best to feed them game bird starter at that age. Layer feed is around 10% less protein than growing quail chicks require.

Generally game bird feed has a higher protein content and are sold separately from chicken feed, at least in the US.

Is this the feed you're talking about?

If so, it seems that company offers a higher protein version called 14A. Broiler feeds here are generally ~22% protein, so the higher protein one would be better.

9inch approximately per bird, I use commercial layer chicks feed continuously and temperatur about 30C.
