The Brown Leghorns are7 weeks old and the Red Leghorns & White orpingtons are 6 weeks old.
All except the Reds can jump/fly up onto the outdoor roost from the ground.
They all have started the chest bumping faze.
They all survived the very bad heat wave we just had.
I can hear hints of their voices changing.
None of the Browns seam to be showing signs that they are actually a rooster
( thank the Lord)
Bob Rooster, the one yr old White Leghorn crowed 3 days shy of being 8 weeks old, So I am not out of the woods on that quite yet.
But , we are now no longer baby chicks.
