So Duke my leghorn decided to go completely nuts a few mornings ago. He came out of the coop and was trying to get the girls and chasing the other rooster. Wings flapping, dancing--the whole nine yards. Well it got really hot here and I wasn't going to have him stress out the rest, so he is now in the house in a large dog crate. He has a radio and fan on. There is a wait at the rescues. At this point I might just keep him in the house until I can make him his own little area outside. Crazy, but I refuse to have him become dinner. I gotta find a branch that I can put in the crate so he can roost.

Tell me about it. Then yesterday two of my dogs got into a fight and I of course ended up with the wounds, but hey the dogs came out of it without a scratch. Once I can use my hand again--we will be all good.
