RCom vs. Brinsea

Thanks for the heads up! I ordered the Suro20 from Kemps last night and already received an email w/ tracking&shipping info. I'm sooo eggsited some of M@M@2four's BCM eggs should be arriving the same time!!!

As a newbie, I'm grateful to not rely on my little giant-craigslist here it comes!!!

I just went and ordered the Brinsea 20 Eco for $99. I only do about 1 hatch a year, and I really like being involved, like turning the eggs and adding water. It's not much but it beats sitting on the eggs

I've been seriously thinking about the Suro20 to. Can you tell me how much was the shipping? I know it will be difference between us but just a ball park figure. Trying to talk hubby into it.
Thanks Jodi

I love my Brinsea Octogon 20; however - I am having a heck of a time getting them to to get it fixed. I've shipped the lid back twice now (they "fixed" it once, sent it back, I did a hatch the very next week, and had the same issues plus one additional issue), and it costs me $26 each time...I asked them to reimburse me (it's still under warranty) for the shipping the 2nd time around, and they have refused. I just hope they actually DO get it fixed this time, because I sure do love how it works.

It just arrived today. It was sent Priority Mail for $31.00 + extra 1.50 (packing mat'ls,?) Shipping is a bit but I really wanted to use it over my LG. Circumstances will keep me from being by the bator most of the time. The deal sounded too good to pass on, I'd started to look into Brinsea and RCom but didn't feel comfortable w/the price. I told my hubby it was an early Valentine's gift.

Best,

Got my Brinsea! It's the ECO model, but very nice, more well built than I thought it would be. I'm currently heating it up, and hopefully tomorrow I'll be getting my Jersey Giant eggs, I already have the silkie ones.
