I'm not sure what to do with him. He was born yesterday and he's the only chick we got out of six. I live in the city so there's no hope of keeping him. I wanted to let the mommy raise him up for awhile and then I need to find him a home. If you are in the area I would be glad to deliver him. I know this is a bit premature but it's weighing on my mind so if anyone out there might want him please let me know. Or if you have any other suggestions of what I could do with him, aside from culling him because I cannot do that, please let me know. Thanks

how do you know he is a rooster?

If carlton is near Eugene I will take him.

I had one that hatched yesterday too, a black astrolorp.

Never mind I guess I was completely wrong. But thank you so much for the reply it's nice to know that someone would have taken it. I didn't have anything to compare to so I guess it's a pullet. Sorry about the post.
