Is it too thick or what? I haven't used it before. You can dilute it further, say double as long as you give the same dosage. If you dilute it with 20 ml, then give 1/4 ml.

its not thick the powder just hadent dissolved all the way i mean it was liqiud but i could still see the powder. i already gave it to him so hopefully its ok....

How many teaspoonsful of powder is in the packet? A packet contains 250 of metronidazole. I thought that I had read where it had 500 mg per tsp. somewhere.

So I would change the dosage to 1/2 ml if you mix it in 10 ml. If it does not mix in the water, then try mixing it in plain yogurt. I am not sure why it would not dissolve in water, since it is used in aquariums. It can be confusing when trying to substitute this product for fish zole tablets.

so should i give him the rest of what would equal 1/2 tsp today or just wait till tomorrow.

so i gave him his dose 1/2 ml total. he basically sleeps all day but his crop is decent size for a sick chicken.
