I've never injected and orally sounds easier so probably that. where can I get it just at tsc? And should I also give it to the other frizzle?
@Squishychicken since you are in NC, you can try asking at your pharmacy for some infant or 1ml syringes. A lot probably depends on how relaxed your city it, but mine will give me a few for free. I don't know if the needle is large enough to puncture the seal on the Tylan bottle though, all you need it for is to draw up your medication, twist off the needle then direct dose your sick bird.
1ml syringes will be easier for you to get your dosage since he is so small. It will not hurt too much if you go a little over, Tylan50 has a wide dosage range and the .25ml per pound is a mid range dosage.
Draw up .12ml if you can, then give that orally, 3 times a day for 5 days.
The link below shows you how:

I would not treat any birds that are not symptomatic.
Antibiotics will not treat a virus, they will only help with secondary infections.

I'm sorry you're having so much trouble. When you call the lab - ask them how you get a shipping label - even though you can drive there, it may be cheaper just to ship - I believe they have FedEx labels.

How much does the chicken weigh? Dosage is 25 mg per pound daily for 5 days. The API product has is powder and is 500 mg per teaspoonful. I have never used it, but it might be best to mix it in water and give the dose with a syringe. Check my math but if you mixed the 500 mg in 10 ml of water, that would equal 50mg per ml. So, 1/4 ml would equal 25 mg. I will check back tomorrow.

@Eggcessive hes 8.3 oz. on the box it says on packet per 10 gallons of water.....the dosage thing is confusing.

update on him-
hes gotten slightly more lethargic. the one buildup has fallen off but there more but further own his throat they look bigger too. so im pretty sure its cankers.
According to the above math, you'd give him 1/8 ml. If that's too small to measure up easily, you would use more water (20 ml) and thus give 1/4 ml of the solution to him.

Since it's for fish tanks, you would not use the dosage listed on the package, as that is not useful at all when dosing a chicken vs a tank of fish.

Tylan is safe to give since you are having these symptoms. It is just that coryza may require sulfa antibiotics as well to treat. Terramycin eye ointment from the feed store or plain Neosporin/Triple Antibiotic Ointment can be used in eyes twice a day after cleaning them. I just want to stress that you should not add sick birds to your flock. They remain carriers for life. Getting testing or a necropsy can help to tell you what disease you are dealing with. It seems that you may have bought sick birds.

You have to ask a clerk for Terramycin eye ointment. The packages are very small, and people steal them. Tylan 200 can be used, but the dosage would be 1/4 the dose of Tylan 50, because it is 4 times stronger than the 50. It might be hard to calculate unless you get a 1 ml syringe from a pharmacy or Walmart, but if you add water, it is doable. You can order Tylan online.

I would continue the metronidazole (API Natural Cure) since you started it, and give for a total of 5-6 days.

Getting testing is a pain, but you really shouldn’t breed and sell hatching eggs or chicks if they have something that can pass along.

Colloidal silver is something that is used by some people, and a lot of the information about it is mostly personal experience or heresay, not a lot of scientific evidence of proof that it works or for dosage. I haven’t used it.

Yep, the Tylan 200 dosage would be pretty minute—0.02 ml 3 times a day. If you are getting testing, I would probably spend the money for that.
