Okay sorry
Ah, no need to apologize, Hon. Just was SOOO tired plus I have been battling a very nasty case of bronchitis for nearly three weeks!

My Golden is a 2-yo bitch that I got from a breeder, not previously socialized. She's a sweetie and now very bonded to me but .... just starting to relax with DH, still scared of GirlChild and not at all sure of the ManChild, lol. She won't go outside on her own, has to have me with her, otherwise just lies behind my chair all day. No worries with the cats or chickens though. Once outside, she relaxes, runs around, rolls in the grass, seems very happy, but immediately ready to come back in and lurk behind chair. Lacks confidence. We have some work to do!

Sorry to hear you’ve been so sick! :hugs

She sounds very sweet! Hopefully she finds her confidence ❤️

They are not my thing and I love them! I never thought I wanted a Lab, but an old lab named Boomer, where we own a camp at, insisted on spending time with us every time we went there. After a few years, I decided I wanted a Boomer in my life.
I now have a six month old beautiful English Lab. Sadly, Boomer died right around the time Bowie (like the knife, not the singer) was conceived and they never got to meet.
This is Boomer.

I love the look of a big beefy bully type dog, but the love of a lab can't be beat...in my experience.

Awww that’s such a sweet story!! 😍❤️ I’m kind of the opposite in that we’ve always had retrievers or retriever mixes and I never thought I’d own a bully type dog but then Brewster fell into my lap lol
