Ribh's D'Coopage

Corn flour and water is an example of a non-Newtonian fluid. It's just fun to play with. When you squish it in your hand it fells hard and dry but when you relax your hand it just runs. You can add food colouring too. There are also recipes for "slime" on the net. That's always a favourite, but messy.
Here is a video using stuff from Woolies.
My kids loved playing with cornstarch & water.
They also have edible slime recipes!

The moulting has begun here. The coop is a veritable snowstorm of discarded feathers & it will only get worse.

My bathroom girls are slowly improving but Desdemona has a really bad case. Everyone is eating well but the poops can be a little strange.

The Newbies are loving being in the larger coop. They all managed to take themselves to bed Tuesday but last night Oshina didn't manage it @ all & I found her crying in distress & frantically pacing the little run long after the others had all gone to roost. :( Left her run too late I think. Silly girl.
She's lucky she has you to watch over her! :love

Thanks, Rene. I need all the help I can get. Eight hours twice a week is a lot of time to fill in ~ especially when the weather turns bad on us.
You're welcome! There are so many ideas available on the internet...I've been bookmarking a lot of them, so I can do them with my GS when he's old enough! I wish I would have had the internet when my kids were little.

True. But some sites aren't worth the effort of wading through & @ least 1 was down right dangerous for the ages I have. I'd rather ask & use the recommendations others have found to be really good. Far more trustworthy! :D

Happy Coffee Klatch Wednesday Wherever everyone! I love drawing this out. :D

That little cry they make is so very sad that you just have to help them. 😢 It is one of the hardest things with integration.
