@Ribh Have you got 9 chooks? Have I counted right? And what are the dimensions of your coop? Just the coop, not the runs.

Copied from pg 26 when John gave me all the dimensions. The Coop is 4'8" X 4'8" ~ which is basically 1 1/2 sheets of marine ply. I can't stand upright, which is something I would rectify only it would have been too tall & we wanted the run space underneath so it is what it is.

John has given me the coop dimensions for those of you for whom such things make sense.
Overall length X width: 18' X 4'.5"
house [internal]: 4'8" X 4'8"
Air flow @ apex: 1'.4" @ floor 2'
Uprights:treated structural pine
walls: 17mm [1/2"] marine ply
Batten screws
The foundation is hardwood [yellow box] slabs set into shallow trenches in the ground.

I have 10 chooks @ present. Lottie is so tiny she tends to disappear in the mass of bigger bodies.
