So I let my girls out this morning. There were 4 already on nests & one waiting on her preferred habitation so only 4 shot out the gate. Ha'penny immediately hopped on the small coop roof & over the fence! She stood there waiting, as if to say,
so what are you going to do about it, hey? What I did is, I picked her straight back up & popped her back where she belongs. She promptly did it again.

Unfortunately for her I had got the hose to fill the water containers & a hose is an excellent chicken herder ~ on fine spray. She was
most put out with me & hopped back into the run! I went inside. Five minutes later I check out a window because that girl has a bee in her bonnet this morning. Yep, digging up my passionfruit. I appeared on the verandah & she promptly shot back over the fence! Looks like being one of those days...

Once my layers are done she just may fine herself in coop confinement. I think she's peeved I found her hidden nest & removed the egg...
