This all sounds wonderful. I'm so happy it's working out for the best. Good job taking care of them.And I came to the conclusion that if I ever end my chicken journey, we’ll have a nice sturdy garden shed.
So, Nyssa has stopped wheezing!She’s got two more doses of her meds to go and she’s really fighting me. She’s still very light, I think she’s about a kilo lighter than she’s meant to me, but she’s been getting stuck into a breakfast of cooked cat mince, shredded cheese and sunflower seeds.
Coccidiosis treatment finished yesterday but it’s been raining again, so I’ll switch to preventative treatment, which is once every four days through the relevant period.
Penguin still seems feisty and chatty, she disciplined the baby floofs this morning! So I’m starting to feel more optimistic again.
I’m also thinking about investing in a pet poo composter and maybe selling manure compost on one of the Facebook market sites. I’m just not in a gardening headspace at the moment but if I can convert poo into cash, maybe I’ll be more excited about cleaning it up!
