Rooster or hen?

I think one is a rooster and one is a hen? We can not tell. They look so different from our other chickens.

They're both males.

any black bird with red on the wings like that is male---that can help take the guesswork away in the future

Well that sure sucks. I got them sold to me as hens when they were around 8 weeks I guess. Already have two roosters in a flock of 20 so I guess I'll be getting rid of these even though they are my favorite breed we own. Thanks for the help.
