Rooster sitting on eggs

My Dutch Bantam Rooster is snatching my Rouen duck eggs and sitting on them. He has gathered 7 duck eggs and sits on them at night. I don't see him sitting on them during the day but it is pretty hot here right now. I could see a hen doing this but a rooster and duck eggs? Any thoughts on if I should take them or leave them

Just want to add to above post. I think this is a rooster. But male and female look the same to me. How can I tell. It would make more sense if this was a hen

Finally found photo of rooster. She is a hen so what she is doing makes sense. Guess I should have done more research before I posted thanks anyways
