I was told this was a sapphire gem pullet by the lady I got the hatching eggs from but I have my doubts. Attitude, size, and comb all have me questioning even the breed(comb made me think it could be mixed with an Easter egger).

I've never raised Sapphire gems before so I was hoping to get some opinions. My boyfriend has found a new love for chickens and this one specifically . I've been saying since it popped outta the egg, THAT'S A ROOSTER. Thanks in advance

How old is your Roo in this pic? I have a 7 week old that is supposed to be a Blue Star pullet and I’m being told it’s a Roo.

The coloring and seems to be skin coloring does look sapphire gem but the comb makes me think otherwise… I’ve only ever had one and she’s a hen but something about that little guy doesn’t look sapphire
