That looks a lot like Fowl Pox to me. If you want the scabs to go away faster, dab some iodine on them. This will make the scabs dry up and fall off. In 4-6 weeks, he should be fine again, and probably won't get Fowl Pox again (at least not this strain). Giving him some electrolytes and probiotics in his water would help him get through Fowl Pox without too much stress. Make sure to keep an eye on him, as some birds get a secondary bacterial infection from Fowl Pox that will need antibiotics to treat.
