Exactly! I notice a lot of people are doing it already anyway, but if we could make it something we all do consistently I wouldn't get confused or have to backtrack to figure it out

Oh thanks I guess if i looked at the color i should have known he wasnt a BR.Sadly, I can't tell you because I don't know, Roxanne. I got him as a grown up and he's a cuckoo marans, not a barred rock. I can say my barred rock hens all have smallish combs, but I don't know if that's a breed trait or just this particular batch.

Someone else said a hen and her attitude isnt very roo like plus shes like the others are.. laying-squatting ? on the ground when i come in the pen Funny They never liked to be touched and now they dont move a muscle. Do they think i am a roo in ppl disguise?.chickens are interesting.
