Okay.yes!
It came out of a barnyard mix I ordered. Hatched out of a light brown medium sized egg that was mislabeled.
If you got it as a barnyard mix, then it's most likely a mix of breeds. Also, muffs are a dominant trait, not recessive.4 toes, yellow legs, pea, or walnut comb. The muffs might be a ressesive trait that'll go away. Chick doesn't really fit in with other chicken breeds I searched. It would be nice for help identifying what my chick is.
I searched that image on Google, and this is what I found:Pure bred aseel chicks. Image from Google.comView attachment 1718236
I'll sell you some eggs if you want to buy some.Pretty bird.
Nah, that's okay. I'm fine. Thanks for the offer.I'll sell you some eggs if you want to buy some.![]()
Since it has muffs, could it be this type of American gamefowl? Image from Google.comIf you got it as a barnyard mix, then it's most likely a mix of breeds. Also, muffs are a dominant trait, not recessive.

Your picture is not of aseel chicks, they are most likely Easter eggers.

Or..... could be a Cornish X in which case you'll have a nice big chicken dinner!! J/K.Since it has muffs, could it be this type of American gamefowl? Image from Google.com View attachment 1719005
I guess I'll wait. I'll post again when it grows up more, when it's not so fluffy.Or..... could be a Cornish X in which case you'll have a nice big chicken dinner!! J/K.
You're just gonna have to wait to find out. When I had my chicks, I couldn't wait til they grew up and show their colors.... at least with the males. They are now starting to develop their red/orange colors, just the beginning stages though. Their pop's a stud, very handsome fellow with vibrant red all over.
Could be, though I don't know if they're that common at hatcheries.Since it has muffs, could it be this type of American gamefowl? Image from Google.com View attachment 1719005
