You can run dry for an extra 24 hours if air cells have not grown much since day 14. I've had good luck doing this!

When I'm not happy with air cell size (too small) I will run dry until internal pip, and hatch upright in egg cartons.

Thanks!!!! I didn't know it was a double. It was a duck egg the size of a chicken egg. So I didn't know. And plus I thought duck eggs were normally larger.

Heavy breed ducks are larger, but the medium and lightweight breeds are similar size or even smaller than chicken eggs...

These were Cayuga, right? Those are mediums, I believe...

That's okay. Not.your fault. Honestly, I thought the big white ones were the double not the regular green size one!!! !!!! And both of the large white ones are going strong so...we shall see. :/

Lots of moving and grooving from 3 of them. I have a feeling the one that didn't look right probably quit on me.
