I used to want one of everything too, but I'm running out of time, so I gotta pick carefully.
LOL makes sense. I cut most of the big fluffy breeds off my list lol I’d now rather shave a dog down in an hour or 10 minutes or whatever than line comb for 3 hours straight and STILL have 3 more hours to do tomorrow or heck, later that night 😂🤣😭🙈🙈

I'm very picky when it comes to haircuts. I personally keep my Yorkie in a longer haircut. Her top knot, ears, and legs are kept long. I think with breeds such as Maltese, Yorkies, and Shih Tzus look best with cuts that show off their long flowy hair. Most people try to make them look fluffy like a pom with a short cut.

I always keep her body really short, and mouth trimmed up.
In this picture her mouth was too long but I can see the length on her arms.

Top knot are a must for girl doggies in my opinion. Especially with bows, otherwise they look silly.
She's adorable. :)

And I crossed everything off my list that runs away if given the chance. Who wants a dog that wants to always leave.

I'm not a fan of double coated breeds anymore. I generally prefer smooth coats for easy maintenance. Never had a long coated, or one that needed regular grooming except for my first dog who was a poodle. Maybe I will be too lazy for the upkeep? I hate mud season here. So many feet to wipe.

:lau good point 😂🤣

Brew likes running off sometimes but he always comes back within like 5 minutes at most. He just likes chasing squirrels or dog friends mostly until he realizes he’s now far away from mama :lau

Hence why I prevent that now 🤣

And OMG mud season you just reminded me I don’t want poodles either Lol friend has PWD and the one has white paws that turn brown after a play session 🤣 so either no poodles OR no white dogs :lau or just clipped short. He’s kept fairly long. Maybe I keep super short but then it does t look like a poodle lol

I really like Brews coat. He grew in a bit of a winter coat so it’s not super super short now haha though it’s still pretty short lol
