People on FB and ESPECIALLY breed groups are idiots LOL at least a lot of them :lau there are good ones and there’s one group in particular that I do like but yeah… dogbook is… interesting 😂🤣🙈

You have a lot of experience so I think you could handle it ❤️

And hmm that makes sense! Maybe your next dog should be a Lab or Golden or other big dog so Pepper could have a friend her own size to pick on 😁🤣 or even if you got like a spaniel or something slightly smaller but still big hahah

Brew plays rough too but all his friends are fellow BBMs for the most part who play just as rough if not more so :lau

Brewster doesn’t bark at squirrels. That would scare them away :lau he does cry/whine if he’s inside or leashed and can’t get to them lol but mostly he just rockets after them when he can :lau in silence LOL

He does bark at turkey and deer though and scary things :lau
Husband wants a lab, so that's in my future. The big dogs do play with Pepper, but she prefers the smaller ones because she can be the winner every time. My 3 youngest are 2 boston bulldog mixes and Pepper the Aussie. It's like a 5th grader playing with kindergartners.

Ahhh okay that makes sense lol Brew doesn’t care about winning or losing I don’t think :lau for some reason I was thinking the big dogs were older now? So maybe she likes the younger dogs energy? Or is closer to them cause she was a pup herself when you got them? Or something? Surely the Bostons and bulldogs are tough though and hold their own 😁😂

Keep in mind that Havanese while adorable are bred for hot weather. They don't handle cold well at all.

Yes far to many wonderfully cute puppers to ever own them all.
Hmm true but don’t they have long, thick coats? Wouldnt that keep them warm? I know people in New York, etc. they have them 🤔 maybe depends on dog though.

But yeah I want basically every breed LOL

Long yes....thick no. The fur is very deceptive.

Buddy would shiver regardless of coat length in winter at anything under 30°.

I would have to rescue him from snowballs on his legs if his coat was to long.

They definitely hold their own. My youngest are Murphy at 1 1/2, Pepper is 2, and Shorty 2 1/2. The rest are 7, 8, 9, and 10. Most of the older ones have some joint issues due to lymes disease.

The three youngsters do everything together. Pepper being a herding breed grabs the others by the back legs and drags them about. Good thing they are fast and can often outrun Pepper.

I'm very picky when it comes to haircuts. I personally keep my Yorkie in a longer haircut. Her top knot, ears, and legs are kept long. I think with breeds such as Maltese, Yorkies, and Shih Tzus look best with cuts that show off their long flowy hair. Most people try to make them look fluffy like a pom with a short cut.

I always keep her body really short, and mouth trimmed up.
In this picture her mouth was too long but I can see the length on her arms.

Top knots are a must for girl doggies in my opinion. Especially with bows, otherwise they look silly.

Ohhhh okay. They sound super bonded, that’s adorable. 😍

I used to worry about the dogs playing rough cause they sound like freaking grizzly bears sometimes LOL and the body slams, flying leaps over (and into) each other, bites face, etc. but they always seem to be having a good time and come back for more so I don’t worry anymore. :lau

The only time I do is when he plays with one of his friends who is not a BBM and is more sensitive and kind of a crybaby. :lau

With him, I don’t let him get too rough. Although the friend has gotten more used to Brew now though and cries far far less and even started getting crazy back now LOL so I worry less now. But if he does cry I do make Brew back off. We’re learning you do that when they cry lol it’s hard cause his friends always ignored him 😂😭🙈

So he says why shouldn’t I ? But he did learn and is better now about stopping it on his own haha
