Well, any of those will be correct I don't see why one of those phrases should be incorrect. To me is just a grey hen. Because when i talk about chickens I'm talking about game hens. Lol.! This is and american game hen, there's other style of grey hens. Not american. For example orientals and bankivas. And between them is so many different strains. ( stains which were developed from different breeders. And we called those strains "breeds". ) It's hard to explain and hard for you to learn all of this at once but at least you get an idea.Thanks for the helpful and speedy replies!

So "Grey American Gamefowl Hen" is the appropriate phrasing? I've always felt odd calling her a "Game Hen" (as the feminine of Game Cock), since to me "game hen" is those little Cornish things you bake in clay... LOL!
