Thanks for the helpful and speedy replies!

Yep, a quick "Google Images" search showed a bunch of gals that look just like her.

So "Grey American Gamefowl Hen" is the appropriate phrasing?  I've always felt odd calling her a "Game Hen" (as the feminine of Game Cock), since to me "game hen" is those little Cornish things you bake in clay...  LOL!
Well, any of those will be correct I don't see why one of those phrases should be incorrect. To me is just a grey hen. Because when i talk about chickens I'm talking about game hens. Lol.! This is and american game hen, there's other style of grey hens. Not american. For example orientals and bankivas. And between them is so many different strains. ( stains which were developed from different breeders. And we called those strains "breeds". ) It's hard to explain and hard for you to learn all of this at once but at least you get an idea.

Cool pic shubin. How long Is that patio cover good night! I used to install those a long time ago
I dont think I ever measured it properly, but I'd guess 50-60ft. Stretches entire length of the house. It was installed when we bought the place.

Yeah those are older pictures... Mys girls are 9 & 8 years old now.

They have their favorite "nice" chickens that they can hold, that I can never get rid of. They have exercised a few too, and they like to get chicks to follow them around by making mama hen sounds. they're actually pretty good at it.
