Sorry about losing the dogs. That sucks. I've always had em and always will. I've got a 15 yr old hound that is slowing way down.
Got as a pup when I lived in Georgia.
Got some pics somewhere of her out fishing on the chatahoochee river. So hot I couldn't Keep her in the boat, as soon as I got her back in shed jump overboard again. Helluva good dog just likes to get the coffee grounds out of the trash.

Yeah my dad used to tease me that my dog went hunting but forget me lol. Since we so close to the marsh she would go out there for the day. She knew the rack of a 12ga that was my call that we were going

around here 12-1500.00 but u gotta remember where I'm at is all about duck hunting so there's some good ones around. Also seems like the white and silver labs are popular so it's kinda hard finding a chocolate on the lower end of price. 20yrs ago 600.00 was normal

Thanks, I am not duck hunter, but labs seem to be a nice speed for a family dog. I would like a well bred lab that has some smarts.

Can't go wrong with a good lab. Great with the kids too.

Reiterate good lab, not the always barking, and jumping all over people lab lol that's what I don't want. Although I've never had any problems like that but have been around some. Guess its just how they brought up

I don't have a use for a duck hunting dog since I rarely shoot any ducks lol

Dobermans are awesome dogs. Not too many smarter. Don't shed, don't drool, if they bark something is wrong. I've got two males. They are the most gentle dog I've ever owned around kids. They don't like strangers though lol. I get zero people coming to my door and the mailman blows the horn for me to come out lol. They don't like the cold either

Yeah I have friends that had dobermans and they were good dogs. Does that impact your insurance?
