Its good for your own experimenting and learning. I did it on accident with my RIR and American game. I think they are cool. Like @roosterhavoc said, sometimes you have to make mistakes to truely learn.
How did that happen? I say it was planned and not a mistake. You might still learn from it. What are you doing with them and how many do you have?

Just these two... Probably breed them together to see how consistent they breed.

One RIR hen was always jumping out of her pen and getting covered by the free range Gamecock. And she must have layed eggs in gamehen nest.

Free range gamecock???!! Jumping out of her pen???!! Her laying in another game hens nest????!! Those 3 things are red flags my friend.
Two of those would normally result in a disaster, the other shouldn't be able to get out of her pen. My opinion only haha

If I were you I would set them as a family. Start a website and start raking in the dough.
Nothing to it.

There's a lot of people that has been involved with gamefowl that have very deep pockets. Back then if you were winning consistently someone sooner or later was going to offer you some real money for a trio and to be honest no amount of money could buy them back then. I never bought anything until 6 years ago, my brother needed to freshen up his Clarets and an old friend sold me a pair for $300 which I thought was cheap for real Clarets. I've bought a couple other stags and pullets since then. 9 times out of 10 your best bloodlines will be gifted to you.
I remember back in the day I went to hickory with my mentor and one time he had a Nissan hardbody filled with roosters in the back and he had his change before the Derby started. Sold out and we were just spectators. Good times. True about the best being gifted too

Golden duckwing color, straight comb and pearl legs?
yes exactly like that, with streamers, but with red shoulders. It shouldn't be too hard to get a couple. The sire is Straight comb,Blue Legged, but with no streamers. My Radio Hens are all straight comb pearl legged and most all hatched cocks with streamers.

Yea I already got one started at my house. 300 Gallon acrylic tank with goldfish, water hyacinth, duckweed and tons of water snails, filtering/watering through some Mulefat. I use water to start sugar cane and other cuttings. Thing is like a greenhouse on the inside.

I never add anything to it, except water every once in a while... I am always taking plants out because they are overgrowning.

I want to set it up to do acutal closed loop system with hydroponic style veggies growing in tubes.

Ill try to get some photos tonight.
Oh a hydroponic setups for veggies, then tilapia in the fish pond, so you can eat everything lol That would be stupid dope.

ok to each his own. No damage done and life goes on (because I wont kill them).

And to be honest... so far they are lot better (overall) compared to the pure RIRs
