nope.. He broke his leg and wasn't able to eat and drink anymore which forced more me to do it. But now I am feeling easier about it.

I’m just messing around. I think that will happen along with heart attacks eventually.

ya these fat chickens looked like they were headed for early grave... but I started feeding them less and only lay pellets instead of the quick grow... they starting to look healthier.

Congrats Shubin. That's why I butchered my first bird. Broke its leg. But then I butchered another to have enough for the mole.

Meat was stiff and chewy.

Theyre past the 8 week point. but im not in a rush to slaughter. I am probably wasting money on feed by keeping them alive, but they still growing.

I bough killing cones and heat shrink bags... and have a big deep freezer setup...
just got to do it.
