We have two cane corso females about 120lbs each mother and daughter, a bulldog, and my red heeler. One of the cane corsos and my red heeler dont mess with the chickens but the others given a chance will kill one. He aint got spurs to do anything yet just saying i can see a future problem if he doesnt tame up good. Hes not mean with me now but usually when there mean to the dogs they get mean with me and I don't raise man fighters. I'm fine with him being high strung just not a man fighter
I added before you quoted me that I have hens that will go after my dog if he gets too close. They aren’t high strung either.

I suppose it depends on what you want to put up with I guess. Birds that leave you alone when there’s another rooster around aren’t quite manfighters imo.

That's not necessarily a bad thing better aggressive toward another rooster than not. I've got almost 5 month old stags that can't be within a pen with any other males within 5ft or they want to fight that to me doesn't make them not worthy at all to me that's a good sign. The handling just takes time to work with them he's young best to work with him now as much as you can.
I'm not saying he shouldn't be like that with another rooster I'm saying he hives the other animals hell for his age

He is still to young for me to tell what's going to come of him. I just like my other red quill stag better
Well they’re yours bud. I’ll take the more aggressive every single time.
I’m not knocking you at all so don’t take it the wrong way but I did notice in your pics that your pens are pretty close together. Do you ever have problems? I thought mine were a little too close. I have to put up plywood to block view completely for a couple.

Can't be bias until you see what's what all need same treatment an some may need more than others handling wise, but being bias can get ya into trouble that's better left when your ready to see what's what.

Don't get me wrong I have my favorites but until they are checked Ya never know what birds best.

I don't have a problem with them right now because some are wrapped in the 1"x2" wire, and the others are younger birds. I usually keep them so i can walk between them. I moved them close together because tomorrow we are wrapping those pens and moving them onto fresh grass.
