Keep what you enjoy. If they hit me, they don't last very long. My wife and son help sometimes and I can't have "manfighters". It can be a very fine line to find birds that are easy to handle and dislike other males.I don't have a problem with them right now because some are wrapped in the 1"x2" wire, and the others are younger birds. I usually keep them so i can walk between them. I moved them close together because tomorrow we are wrapping those pens and moving them onto fresh grass.
Thanks, all 2 pounds of her!She looks good man
I agree with what your saying. If he is anything like his dad he will have a spot on this yardCan't be bias until you see what's what all need same treatment an some may need more than others handling wise, but being bias can get ya into trouble that's better left when your ready to see what's what.
Don't get me wrong I have my favorites but until they are checked Ya never know what birds best.

I understand. It is a balancing act. Nice alone won't cut it...A lot depends on what your doing with the bird I guess. Everyone has different ideas of what’s acceptable. I’ll take a slightly mean aggressive rooster over a “nice” rooster any day of the week.
Getting nailed by roosters can be a real turn off, for most... I wasn't the sharpest kid and nailed by many a mother hen with chicks. lolSame issue here my wife and 6yr old son help
