Ok cool... so your pretty new at owning games?

Usually they call the "white" ones Greys, and the "Red" one is a Black Breasted Red (BBR)... Refering to colors only...

The BBR one might be a yellow leg hatch (refering the strain/breed). And if the grey is the son then he would be a mixed breed, hatch grey.

There is still some debate on how to refer to American games, because a lot of people use old breeders names, like Hatch for example... There was a breeder named Sandy Hatch from the early 1900s.

I started with regular birds from the feed store.
I let them roam all day and they did not fare well predators. My boss had Gamebirds. He said they where tough and would do much better.
I have had them about three years.
I have learned what people mean by you can only have one rooster. But they are really great with the family. Even my small kids hold the rooster.
Just as long as your not a male bird of any kind.
I am now getting vary interested in exotic looking rooster but don't want to loose the true game.
I'm hoping to get a some blue hens and stags. Then mix with my rooster and hens to see what I get!!

This guy is real calm with me but my wife can't even feed him without him trying to unload on her through the pen. Strange
