Nice how big is each stall. Gonna have to put plywood dividers so they can't fight through the wire
Each stall is 36" x 40" x 48" tall...

Already have the plywood dividers cut and ready to go...

I was originally going to have a wire floor and removable dividers (so it could be a 1, 2 or 3 pen coop depending on which divider I removed) with 3 hinged roofs acting as access... but I changed my mind and went with my old standard setup... on the floor with with wire door.

little small ain't it? I personally wouldn't go any smaller than 4 x 4 for a single bird. 4x5 for pairs and young trios. Some I have 4X8 with trios. Seems small especially since you'll be boxing them in with plywood

yeah its a little small... My other coops are 36" x 48" x 60" tall and those work well for pairs... I figure slightly smaller would be fine for a single.

I will let them out on occasion to stretch out. Thinking about a free range netted area for that purpose. I have a nice hill that could be netted up pretty easily.. still designing that part in my head.

Too bad u can't see this one good shubin I think you would like him

:(

I took my two beautiful game roosters and built them separate pens so they wouldnt fight and gave each a few hens.

I came home yesterday and my roomates dog had torn through all three chicken coops, breaking open the doors and had killed 18 of the 21 chickens. She had just killed them one after the other and left

bodies everywhere. Here is a pic of the toughest rooster with his hen a few days before. I had the other smaller game rooster with a little bantam polish hen and he would snuggle up to her and sun together with her and they looked really adorable and seemed very happy, as happy as a chicken could be-he had just started crowing at me all the time and was incredible friendly and would let me hold him

I didnt realize how much I loved the silly things until I lost them all. They were a mottly little crew of birds, cute cubalayas and a phoneix and some yokohamas and even a sumatra. I liked to sit with them in the afternoons after work and watch them just be silly little chickens. These seems dumb, but they were my little buddies :(

Looks good from what I see... I think I saw him in some of your other photos showing the hens...

Roosters are hard to photograph in the shade... never look as good as compared to real life. Full sun for the darker roosters...
Greys and Whites tend to look ok in shaded photographs, because of the light colors.
