I have thought about getting jungle fowl anyone have any experience with them?

I have had something that approximates Red Jungle Fowl. Smaller, very capable on the wing, flighty but easily tamed, smart but do not take advantage of my predator management when free range. They mature faster than my games and lay eggs surprisingly large for birds their size.

Modern games? As in oeg?
I also got some layers for the first time last year after owning games for 3 years and I'm glad I did. I get about a dozen every 2-3 days from 5 hens.

No OEG... just modern Game (which is techinically OEG x Malay cross)... I bred my modern game hen to my American Gamecock. to come up with that white rooster I have been posting recently.

I do like the looks of hte Andulusian, reminds me of the lakevelders... I wanted the orloffs because I am of russian descent.

Nope Anconas and blue andulusians both lay white eggs. Both do well free range and do extremely well avoiding predators. Both are noisy along with the lakenvelders.

Those look kind of game... I know someone (maybe you) said that they would attack you like crazy. I wonder how they'd fair against a game in a natural fight...

It would be cool to get games in that color

A couple days ago I posted that if I were to get a non game I've always wanted lakenvelders no haven't ever had any.

I've had two lakenvelder roosters. I posted I believe yesterday that they were killed by Hawks. Only one was the other was killed by my peacock. I had a barbecue with a bunch of people over and they saw the peacock kick the snot out of him. I was manning the grill and everybody started yelling they said the rooster kicked the peacock first. He was mentally tough just not physically. He was somewhat under gunned.

what color u speak of? They come white/black and golden/black that I know of
