thats cool. I didnt know wild turkeys lived there. I havent heard or seen anything this far north.I've camped up there and there is wild turkey, im sure chickens would do fine
Flight is super important. I think the terrain gives them an advantage, because of the steep canyons and valleys. I could just imagine them flying across a valley and leaving a coyote on the other side slope. Nice big oak trees down in all the valleys too, which is where they have been sleeping at night.. about 20-30ft up.
