Yeah it's a hurricane we all been through it, it'll pass. Water on the ground no flooding or anything. It ended up going east of us which means we gonna get the west side which is the lesser. N.E quadrant is always the worst. Greatful for that. Chickens should be fine no flooding back there.

anyone have any red pyle? pics? info? opinions? I found some local from an old timer in kansas , supposed to be from A.P. O'Conor Mansell Pyle brought from Spain

All day ohh! It's gonna be a two, tidal surge 7-11' gonna be bad cause the water is already high from an East wind for a few days wahhh wahhh evacuate, buy stuff. Now they back stepping. "Oh well it coulda been a two ya know slight chance. Now it's not gonna be we didnt expect it to break up. Cause you know forecast and tracks aren't all that reliable". Pleeze.

Initially the 35 yds then only went another 20 in a different direction. Found her and she jumped up and went another 40 yds or so back in the direction of my stand. All total less than 100 yds just kinda in a circle.
Problem is I walked by her initially and covered a couple hundred yds in every direction. Lol

I've lost a deer with a shot similar to that. She jumped the string and my arrow hit a little vine that I didn't see.

Sometimes it doesn't matter how careful we are, the deer have a 6th sense and move at the worst time.

The news people do the same thing with snow storms. Talk them up like they're gonna drop 10 feet of snow. Everyone runs out and buys gas, eggs, bread, and milk. Then we end up with a dusting.

Ha happens all the time around here. I live near the coast though and the snow totals aren't as easy to predict or so they say. Last year they were saying 12-18 inches with one storm I got about an inch. 38 miles north where I work got a 12 inches. So who knows.

Went to the store before daylight. Went around a corner swerved "was that a duck)!? Came back sure enough a single hen colored full ground duck standing on the side of the road. Odd. Wonder if it's injured. Never saw a single duck like that. Unless the rest were out of sight
