All those vets are high. Sky is the limit with pets these days. When you walk into a place that the first thing you see are the rows of pictures of oncologists, anesthesiologists, x ray techs, surgens the nurses etc you're wallet starts burning. Less the animals you'd think you was in a people hospital

Pretty sure I can fix it with a swift kick to the nutpouch but I’m not 100% sure.

We're lucky got a good vet in Sparta Twin oaks that do all our stuff let's us make payments on surgery stuff.

Not all vets do surgeries like that chief. Plus I don’t live in Sparta twin oaks.

its a perineal hernia. Checked another place and same price.

Wow! I have a friend with a lab pup from last year. It had a small umbilical hernia and the vet said no big deal it can be fixed when she was neutered. Who would have thought $3200 for a perineal hernia? I realize it is more involved but that is expensive!

That's what I thought, but different areas so ya really can't compare.

Me personally I'd have to take out a loan for that lol and would for my pup.

So true. We live in a small town and have a very good vet. People know his office from all around us and drive out from the city because prices are much more reasonable and he does a great job.

Yeah that’s not even close to the same thing. That’s a simple fix.

My vet is affordable and great. He’s a farm vet too. He just doesn’t do specialized surgeries like this. One of the few around here that still crops ears.
