I use Adams flea and tick spray and also give him a shot at the base of the tail. I do everything at night while they're on the roost.
I do most at night. If
I have a bird out for any reason I’ll usually do it then if needed but otherwise the whole deal goes much faster at night.
 
What about body wise? I only ask because I notice that my Hatch grew way faster than the radios or grey crosses.
The bird Havoc sent me seems full grown to me and he's not even a year old.
They were average size, high 4s to low 5s real tight football bodied
 
Finally got this black pullet caught up. Locked her in the shed then went in after in the dark.

Just finished playing with the birds.
These hatch have come a long way. At first they were uncoordinated and clumsy, compared to now, more alert grounded better, better accuracy and they just keep getting stronger, not to mention the stamina. Needless to say I really have my hopes up for the radio hatch crosses I'm currently raising.
